Table for Two?
As a dysfunctional restaurant prepares for its grand re-opening, the staff soon realise they might be in for a long night...
A physical comedy, ‘Table for Two?’ is a 45 minute egg-and-spoon sprint through the underbrush. The stakes are high, the food is tinned and at the end of it, there might be dessert.
A unique theatre experience full of good laughs, terrible table service and more audience participation than you bargained for, ‘Table for Two?’ takes your order and then forgets it, asks for it again and then loses the docket. From Blumenthalian gastronomic experiments to mixological mishaps, prepare to be whisked off your feet and sieved into a melting pot of characters, calamity and caviar*.
Originally developed in residence at the Q Theatre, this one-man show is the first solo work from Will Tredinnick. Self-produced, self-devised and self-determined, ‘Table for Two?’ challenges both performer and audience to bring their appetite for a night that is sure to be remembered.
*all caviar served will be tinned.
"This is the best thing I've seen from this guy."
"I haven't seen it yet."
The collective term for flamingo is a flamboyance. A flamboyance of flamingos.
